Success stories
At the ǿմý, researchers are very successful with their grant proposals. Numerous projects are funded by the SNSF, ERC, European Programs and many foundations. Behind these numbers are people that are responsible for writing and managing grants. Each project is a valuable lesson on the efficient ways to succeed. Several grantees have been kind enough to share their experience with others who aim to acquire funds for their research.
As a Grants Office we would like to present interviews with the successful researchers and their hands-on experience to help those who are considering applying for the funds. Below you may find success stories of Hanna Walsdorf, Marc Donath, Anne-Katrin Pröbstel, Patrick Maletinsky, Ulf Hahnel, Heiko Schuldt and Elena Makarova. We hope you will find their stories inspiring and useful.
On the right you find three links to databases of the Swiss National Science Foundation and European Commission, as well as a list of the ERC grants awarded to researchers affiliated with the ǿմý. These are not only a record of the past successes, but also a valuable source of information, helpful when writing your own grant proposal.
